Best of Becca Cosmetics | What to Buy

This morning Becca Cosmetics announced that they’d be closing as a brand in September 2021. There are several Becca products that have become daily use, Holy Grail items for me. The news was such a shock to me, truly. It’s such a loved brand by many and I did not anticipate seeing that annoucement.

I wanted to share what I think that MUST HAVE items are to stock up on before they are no longer available. I will eventually try to find alternatives, but I honestly feel really bummed at the moment about this news, as Becca really is a favorite brand for me.

I am holding out hope that they will have a brand revamp and just come out with an edited line of their best-selling products or another company will purchase the brand to keep their best products going. I prefer to try and stay optimistic. In the meantime, the products below are what I have purchased to stock up on.

1 | Under Eye Corrector

This will come as a surprise to probably no one, ha! I have waxed poetic about this product for years. It’s been a game changer for me and my under eye circles. It makes even a $5 drugstore concealer look incredible.

It instantly erases dark circles.

I’ve mentioned the under eye corrector in every video that has to do with concealer or complexion. It’s my #1 must have and I will be stocking up.

This product lasts two years once the container has been opened. I am happy that this product lasts so long once it’s been opened. If you buy two now, make sure to keep the 2nd one sealed until you are ready to use.

This is a cream product, so it contains more pigment that a liquid. A little goes a long way. Here is a full video on how to use the Becca Corrector for best results.

I wear shade Light to Medium, which is more of a peachy-pink. The Medium to Deep is more of a peach-salmon.

2 | Backlight Priming Filter Face Primer

Again, nothing I have found has come close to this primer. It’s 9 hours of sleep in a bottle. It’s glow and fresh without ever looking too dewy.

It makes every foundation look better (sensing a pattern here? ha!) This is such a fantastic primer, it can even be worn on it’s own on lighter makeup days as it reflects light so beautifully and really makes skin look flawless. It also has worked under ever single foundation I have ever worn.

My gosh, I don’t know what I will do without this primer! It’s the perfect light-reflecting base, without it ever looking or feeling too heavy or dewy.

3 | Sunlit Bronzer

This bronzer is so special. It’s radiant and looks like a real tan after a day at the beach. It has a glow, without being over-the-top and sparkly.

The formula is so soft, it almost feels like a cream. It’s one of the softest powder formulas I’ve used and I truly love it. It melts in to your skin and really becomes one with any other products, but has the ease of application of a powder.

They have a full range of shades, so there really is a color for everyone. My personal favorite is Capri Coast.
