Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer Review + Swatches | Shades .5N 1N 1W 1.5W 2N

Every once in a while, a concealer comes along and from that first use, I know it’s special. I had heard a ton of hype and positive reviews about the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion concealer and it definitely lived up to and surpassed my expectations! This post will dive into my full review of the formula and swatches of five shades.

TEXTURE + FINISH

The Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion concealer is a liquid formula. It comes in a tube, with a sponge tip.

This concealer has a satin finish that builds from light up to full coverage without ever looking heavy. It dries down on the skin, without ever getting a cracked or parched look. It feels lightweight, but has so much pigment that my dark circles are completely covered.

I wear shade 1W, which is a light skin tone, with warmer yellow and slightly peachier undertones. I do wish they had a more peach undertone concealer in the shade “1” range, but that is the only thing I’d change about this concealer.

What amazes me about this formula is that it melts into your skin and truly “fuses” with the skin. It has a seamless finish.

The Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion concealer really does: 1 – become one with your skin 2 – cover dark circles completely 3 – last all day without caking or creasing. It’s a very dry and mature skin friendly formula.

LONGEVITY

I get all day wear with this concealer. It does work best with my ggg setting technique. It lasts at least 8 hours set traditionally or with my method.

This concealer works best when applied and blended with fingers. I like to finish the look with a beauty blender sponge as my last step. But I find I get the most coverage and the “fusion” effect with my skin when I tap on gently and blend with my ring finger.
