These blushes are my absolute favorite, tried-and-true shades. They all have great beige under tones that make them very wearable, especially for fair and light skin tones.
I have tried countless blush shades over the years and for the longest time, couldn’t put my finger on why some blush shades just looked so off. Finally, I figured out that because I have some red surface tones in my skin (explained here!), blushes with a lot of red pigment in the formula bring out those red tones in my skin and make it look muddy.
It’s interesting to me that most of these blush shades look very “blah” in the pan and transform to the most perfect, natural looking cheek flushes once they are applied.
My Favorite Blushes + Shades

This Chanel blush shade was the OG beige shade that made me convert from my other blush shades. It’ truly the perfect beige and looks amazing on a range of skin tones. I used to use this on almost all of my clients as well.
A luxury price point, but the pan seems to last forever and ever, even with how much I use this shade!

These Laura Mercier powder blushes are one of my favorite formulas for summer. They are a bit more matte that the other formulas and really hold up well for my in the heat.
Chai is a great shade that adds a perfect rose-beige flush.
.37 oz | $32
I am in love with the Patrick Ta blush formulas. They are super sheer and it’s almost impossible to over apply. The formula does take some getting used to, if you are used to a heavily pigmented blush that picks up a ton of product
“She’s Seductive” is a mauve beige shade that looks like a real cheek flush for me. I layered this over a cream blush for my wedding makeup.
This is a giant pan and more than double the size of every other blush I own!
.07 oz | $30
Beige cream formulas are so hard to come by and Praline is one of the most perfect beige cheek shades. This adds a very natural looking flush.
This formula is incredibly pigmented, so start light and build up layers as needed.
.12 oz | $23
I love the sheen in this formula, it adds an incredible flush to my cheeks! I do not even wear highlighter on the days I wear this blush, it is already so luminous.
Seychelles is a great beige rose shade that works with so many different eye looks.
I do recommend to go very light with applying this blush and build to the intensity level you want, or else the sheen can turn into a shimmer and get a little overwhelming. But applied lightly, it makes me look so healthy and fresh.
.15 oz | $8
This Colourpop blush comes in their legendary mousse-cream hybrid formula. It’s a perfect natural rose flush.
I love how soft this looks on my cheeks and the price can not be beat! It also wears well throughout the day.
.34 oz | $38
I held out for so long on purchasing this Pat McGrath blush and my only regret is not getting it sooner. The color is lovely (the perfect beige flush) and the powder formula is hydrating and soft looking on the skin.
I reach for this blush so often now, it’s a truly special shade and formula.
