I got so many requests for this post, so I compiled my top 15 picks from this year’s sale, including items I bought in previous years that are back. This is the good stuff, my friends!
For the beauty section of the Nordstrom sale, I generally don’t go as much for the limited edition sets, but use it as a time to stock up on favorites and jumbo sizes, especially for skincare. This is where the Nordstrom sale really shines for me: the value size duo skincare sets. You’ll see a few linked below. Click right on the name for a direct link to the item page.
I will all more of the clothing photos once shipment(s) arrive. Make sure to follow me on Instagram @girlgetglamorous as well for some IG story try-ons.
You do need a Nordstrom card to shop the sale early, open access begins on July 20.
– Link to Nordstrom Beauty Sale Page – This is the link to all the beauty deals, in case you feel like browsing through them. There are way more good deals and exclusives, I just linked what I personally have bought or would buy. So check it out if there are different brands that you love and swear by. Things tend to come in and out of being in stock quickly, so I do recommend purchasing right away if you see something you like, as it’s free shipping and returns.
1 | Deborah Lippman Rich Girl Hand Cream Duo – $35. This is my top purchase every year from the sale and some years it’s all I get from the sale! I love, love, love this hand cream, but it’s a bit pricey at $28 a tube. The deal makes it much more reasonable. Full review here, but in summary, this hand cream: sinks in right away, brightens my skin, provides anti-aging benefits, and prevents future sun damage with SPF 25. I love it and keep it in my purse. Also, it smells like Jasmine and is divine. Great hand cream and even better at this price. This hand cream duo does sell out really quickly every year, but as of now is still in stock.
2 | Tom Ford Iris Bronze Quad + Mini Lipsticks – $87. This was a splurge purchase for me. These shades looked lovely and the set comes with two best selling mini .03oz size lipsticks. Tom Ford is definitely a luxury purchase, there really isn’t any justifying the price tag, but I will say that the mini lipsticks are $18 each, and Nordstrom added a 3rd one as a bonus, so that does add $54 in free gifts to it. The shades are gorgeous. The two top shades are neutral/inner corner highlights and the bottom two I’ve been wearing as single swipe shades across my eye lids every day. They don’t crease and are so rich and stunning on. I’m glad I decided to go for this palette, because it is absolutely gorgeous and it is limited edition, exclusive to the Nordstrom sale, so this is your one chance to get it.
3 | Adidas Flashback Sneaker – Beige – $67.50. I needed supportive neutral sneakers for days I do makeup. My loafers started hurting my heels and ankles. These are the sneakers I brought to Europe with me (in this white/navy combo). I added arch support insoles and was able to walk 8-13 miles daily with total support! I love them and they look great with jeans and even some of the dresses I brought. Size a half size up, especially if you add thicker insoles like me. I’ve never loved a pair of sneaker so much in my life. This pair goes in and out of stock really quickly, so keep checking for your size!
4 | Ahava Mineral Body Lotion Triple Size Two Bottle Set– $57. (value of $117) (purchased previously- post) This is hands down my favorite body lotion. I previously had used the Ahava firming lotion, which is amazing for tightening skin and has collagen building ingredients, but was a bit on the pricier side at $42 for 6.8oz. This is their classic version of the lotion and once I started using this, I can’t use anything else. It sinks in immediately and clears up any and all dry patches. I’m especially loving it lately for post swimming, it soothes chlorine-dried skin overnight. I had the itched red patches on my skin after traveling and swimming 4 days in a row (I know, I know, play a mini violin for me, ha!) and with just one application, my skin was back to normal. This is an excellent price and both bottles are jumbo sized, with double the normal amount of product, so you get 34 oz of product total. I’ve been using the same double sized bottle for almost a year, so these should last you awhile!
5 | Jack Black Double Duty Jumbo Duo Day Lotion SPF 20 – $68 for two. (purchased previously) This is my daily face lotion. I love it so much that I’ve also purchased bottles for my father and boyfriend. It’s a must have! The ingredients are mostly natural, it contains SPF 20, and it sinks in right away, so I can do makeup within 30 seconds after applying. It feels like and fresh on your skin. I bought this jumbo deal last year and am still working through my first bottle. It’s normally $48 for one bottle, so I love this deal!
6 | Beauty Blender Cleanse + Carry Set – $35. (on wish list) I love this silicone holder! This is a brand new item from beautyblender and I’m so curious to try it. I think it’ll be easier and cleaner for transporting my beautyblenders to work. This is a great deal if you are on the market for new blenders because you get the carrier, two beauty blenders, and a soap cleanser for $35. One blender alone is normally $20.
7 | ghd Platinum Flat Iron – $166 (purchased previously) I have owned my ghd iron for years now (video review) and still love it. I don’t flat iron my hair a ton anymore, but when I do, this gets my hair super smooth. The even heat distribution and optimal heat one-setting-only make sure that your hair never gets burnt. I use this to smooth out pieces around my face a ton.
8 | Nike Rally Sweatshirt – $52. I have realized that I wear lounge clothes SO much more than dress up clothes lately. I like that the sweatshirt has a unique semi mock neck neckline, it’s really cool!
9 | Leith Navy Plaid Blazer + Skort Set (sold separately) – $52 blazer, $44 skort. I kept coming back to this set before deciding to buy it. It kind of reminds me of Clueless but feels wearable. I think it would be a cute alternative to a jeans/top or dress outfit.
10 | Good American Good Legs Skinny Jeans – $105. (wish list) I just purchased my first pair of Good American jeans recently and the fit is so unique. They are stretchy and really skinny, yet somehow don’t feel too tight or constricting. The skinny leg fit is great on the legs and the waistband didn’t dig in at all. I love the mid to high rise. These do run a bit big, so if you are in between sizes, order the smaller size.
11 | WAYF Milan Ruffle Dress – $65.40. I had been watching this dress forever and it just went on sale for 40% off. It’s so romantic looking!
12 | WAYF Plunging Knot Top – $45. This top is super flattering on. I love the graceful wrap front and it has spaaaandex in it, hello.
13 | Gorjana Kellen Linked Hoop Earrings – Rose Gold – $39.90. I have been wanting a pair of double drop hoops for a bit and love that Gorjana makes them in rose gold. It’s such a pretty color for redheads!
14 | Bauble Bar Twilight Interchangable Earring Set – $34. I like that you can inter change the back and posts of these earrings to create different looks. I always love hoop earrings too, so these glitzy posts step them up a notch.
15 | Longchamp 49mm Gradient Round Sunglasses in Peach – $126. The sunglasses aren’t actually part of the sale, but they had a better price than most of the sunglasses that were included! They also look SO much like the Electric brand sunglasses that I bought in last years sale and wear non-stop. I get a ton of emails and questions about those sunglasses and they don’t make them anymore. These Longchamp ones look the closest out of any others I’ve seen. Longchamp quality is always amazing, I have a couple of their travel totes and I always feel like they could charge more (but am glad they don’t – ha!). Anyhow, I wanted to share because I know so many people have wanted to get some round, peachy-toned sunglasses and these look amazing!
I hope this post is helpful! I know the Nordstrom sale can feel really overwhelming. I hope this guide helps you and saves you some time!
