Best BB Cream for Mature Skin: Purito Cica Review + Swatches

In today’s post, I have swatches and a review of one of the best selling BB creams on the market! Purito’s Cica Clearing BB Cream is a K-Beauty gem, that has finally made it’s way to the US. I absolutely love this BB cream and wanted to do a review and swatches of all six shades.

Purito BB Cream Review

The Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream is a truly wonderful base product. As a K-beauty best seller, I am happy that it’s become easier to buy in the US.

Texture: The texture is lightweight. Really feels hydrating but light on the skin. I have dry skin, especially in the winter and the Purito BB cream makes me look so dewy.

Coverage: Light to medium, which I love. This is the best coverage I have gotten from a BB cream. It stays fresh looking and never gets dry or settles into fine lines.

Pros: The price point is less than $11 for a full ounce. That is an insane value for a product at this quality level. The ingredients never irritate or itch my skin, which is rare for me. It was developed for sensitive skin and really lives up to that promise.

Shade Range: The shade range is slightly limited for a US consumer, but still far more than the average K-Beauty base product. If you can find a shade that suits you, you’ll be really happy with this product.

My shade is #15 Rose Ivory, which also happens to be a perfect match for my fair-to-light skin with peach undertones. If you don’t have a perfect match in this BB cream, I do recommend buying the closest one and then mixing with a drop of your other foundations or concealer to make a perfect shade.

Overall: I love this BB cream, I love it’s coverage, and I love it’s skin-friendly ingredients. It’s so hydrating and wonderful on dry and mature skin. It’s a beauty steal. I am already on my second tube.
