Laura Mercier Blush Color Infusion Swatches + Review

Laura Mercier Blush Color Infusion is a blush product that I feel has kind of slid under the radar! It’s a great blush and has in incredible range of colors.

I have six shades to swatch for you today and have highlighted my personal favorite shades, so if you have similar coloring to me (fair/light skin tone, peach undertone) hopefully that will be helpful. Let’s get into each of the shades and the overall review!

Best Shades for Very Fair Skin

Guava: matte light pink coral. One of the most fair blush shades I’ve ever seen!

Best Shades for Fair to Light Skin

Chai: matte dirty rose. My go-to shade.

Watermelon: cool luminescent pink. I love this shade when I need to brighten up my complexion and add some color.

Best Shades for Medium Skin

Fresco: sheen brown nude. A perfect neutral blush shade for medium skin tones.

Passionfruit: warm coral luminescent pink. This shade is such a pretty pop of color! I also think it would be a lovely pink blush on deeper skin tones with it’s subtle warmth.

Best For Deep Skin

Bellini: matte peachy coral. This shade looks light in the pan, but transforms into a beautiful deep warm peach shade on the skin.

LAURA MERCIER BLUSH COLOR INFUSION REVIEW

Texture: Silky smooth! They really glides on easily, no skipping or patchiness.

I love how sheer, but even the color is when I apply with a blush brush. I use the BK Beauty 107 brush (code: MOLLY10 to save) for application.

It’s tricky to find a powder that applies evenly, this formula is a gem! This silky texture also makes this powder formula mature skin friendly, in my opinion.

I do think this blush works best with one to two light layers. It does oxidize and get slightly darker after application, so the working with one or two light layers helps keep the color smooth and consistent.

Pigment + Longevity: These blushes are incredibly pigmented, but do apply sheer. I applied them heavily for the photos above, so you can really see each color. But generally I apply a much lighter wash of color.

Shade Range: There are 14 shades total in the original line, truly there is a shade for every skin tone and undertone combination. I don’t know of any other blushes with this many colors to choose from.

Price: At $36 each, they are a bit on the pricier side, but the .2 oz pan is hefty and after using my shades for years, they still appear almost untouched. There is so much product in the pan. And then within that pan, each blush is so pigmented that the tiniest few taps are more than enough for both cheeks.

I love that these blushes really last on the skin.

Overall Review: The Laura Mercier Blush Color Infusion blushes are a beautifully made blush. I love their silky texture and how long they last on my cheeks. I love and will continue to wear and restock my favorite shades.
