1 | What is the ZIIP Halo 2.0?

ZIIP Halo 2.0 is a handheld skincare device that delivers at-home microcurrent facials.

On the ZIIP app, you can sync your device to seventeen different treatments – each preprogramed with it’s own waveform, designed to treat a different skin concern.

The ZIIP Halo 2.0 has been updated to have 63% more accurate waveforms to increase performance and a more “robust” look and feel to increase the device’s durability. It does feel a bit heavier to me vs. the original Halo, which was more lightweight.

The charging port on the new device also come with an attached plug, to prevent gel interference while the device is in use. I really like this feature!

2 | What comes in the ZIIP Halo starter box?

3 | How does ZIIP Halo 2.0 Work?

ZIIP Halo works by adapting electrical currents to work with your skin’s natural bio-electricity. The collections of cells that make up our tissues and organs communicate using a language of voltage and electric fields.

This includes increasing ATP production and energizing skin cells, I think of it like a cup of coffee for my cells. The result of using micro current is improved collagen and elastin production and improved cellular repair. Collagen is what keeps skin smooth and elastin keeps skin bouncy and dense.

When you increase current intensity, micro current gently contracts and relax facial muscles. The result being a more lifted, contoured appearance. I compare my ZIIP treatments to a pilates workout, but for my face.

4 | How should I pick my ZIIP treatments?

I like to do a quick assessment of my skin’s needs, then search accordingly in the app. I use my ZIIP 2-3x per week now, so I like to mix up my treatments to make sure I’m getting the best results.

All of the treatments are led by Melanie Simon, ZIIP’s founder, who is an esthetician and understands the face’s muscle structure, so I like to follow along with her movements (she also talks you through the treatments) to make sure I’m getting the best results.

5 | How long until I see results with my ZIIP Halo 2.0?

When I was using the original ZIIP GX device (I’ve been using ZIIP for 7+ years) it took about six weeks to see results. The new ZIIP Halo 2.0 has stronger currents, so I am curious to see if you will see results sooner than six weeks. 6 | Can I travel internationally with the ZIIP Halo 2.0?

Yes! The device is dual voltage, so it can be charged while traveling internationally (I live in the US, but love to travel as much as possible). If you are nervous about charging on a wall plug, you can just charge it via your laptop port, to play it safe.

8 | Do you have any before-and-after pictures using the new ZIIP Halo 2.0 device?

Ask and you shall receive! Here are my immediate results before-and-after doing these treatments:

• 4 Minute Facial – this is an instant face lift (4 minutes)
• Jowls 2x (3 minutes each side)
• Eyes 2 x (2 minutes each side)
