When you are using a flat iron or curling iron, never curl or straighten a section of hair larger than the width of the iron. For example, if your curling iron is 1″ in diameter, then don’t curl a section larger than 1″ in width. The hair at the top of the section won’t get the proper amount of heat and will ended up frizzy or misshapen and you’ll have to restyle it. It’s actually more time effective to work quickly with smaller sections!
