Jones Road Beauty Reviewed: The Best Eyeliner Pencil

As you can tell by the little stub that’s left of my pencil, I really love the Jones Road eye liner. I think it’s truly the perfect liner. I especially think it’s lovely on mature or maturing skin. I’ve been using this pencil almost every day for the past six months, so I want to share my review of this eye liner formula.

My first impression of this eyeliner was: this seems like a decent eyeliner to me.  A great formula but maybe not that different than most liners.  However, the longer I have used this liner, the more I realize it’s actually a stand out formula. 

TEXTURE + PIGMENT

The pencil is smooth, glides on perfectly, and smudges to soften without the color disappearing.  I am somehow able to get this liner closer between my lashes more than any other liner I’ve tried.

It’s pigmented enough that I only need to go over an area once to get enough color and depth. 

I’ve been wearing the brown and will get that shade again, but would also like to try their other colors. 

LONGEVITY + WEAR

It lasts all day and does not irritate my eyes.  It even lasts for me in the water line, which is tricky. I do like to set all my makeup with a setting spray and I think this helps add even more wear time.

The liner gives me around 45 seconds to play around with and smudge out, then sets for all day wear.

I am so thankful to have found a liner that works with my super sensitive eyes.

MY REVIEW

This eye pencil is a total winner and will be a repurchase for me.  I love how easily it applies with zero tugging on the skin at my eye lid. I love the brown color with the small flecks of gold that light up my eyes. Overall it’s just a really nice eye liner at a great price point.
