I like this time of year immensely. It’s still hot but not unbearable, I can curl my hair without feeling like I’m in a steam room at the spa, and did I mention the heat has gone down? It’s all I’ve talked about? Well, the heat has gone down.
I grew up on the east coast and loved the transition into Fall. It was bittersweet because I knew COLD wasn’t too far away and I wouldn’t say extreme temperatures are my thing. Which I why I’ve lived happy on the west coast for some time now. But I loved the leaves changing and sweaters and mid-range temperatures.
I came up with this look, which I call “The Bronzed Berry” as a way to keep the summer glow going but add in some Fall colors.
You definitely don’t have to use all the same shades as me, especially on the eyes! The fundamentals of the look are: dewy skin, matte bronzer to add a glow, cheek tint for a natural flush, eyeshadow a shade or two deeper than your skin tone, with shimmer in the crease and underneath, false lashes, and sheer raspberry lipstick with a satin finish (not matte).
Here is the video. If you want to skip right to the makeup, you can go to the 1:11 minute mark. But if you’re like me and love seeing the exact products I used, watch the whole dang thing!
Thank you for reading and watching! I hope you love this look! Please feel free to share on your Facebook wall and Pinterest. You can follow @girlgetglamorous for daily makeup pics.
