I’ve Used Dyson Airwrap for Two Years – Is It Worth the Money?

The Airwrap is a combination hair dryer and styling tool. Instead of using high heat to style your hair, it uses high speed air flow and suction to dry and style your hair at the same time.

It comes with a barrel and 6 styling attachments that are easily clicked in and out, using the lock on the backside of the barrel.

• (1) barrel • (4) attachments • (1) storage box • (1) heat protection mat • product has (3) air flow settings and (3) heat settings, with (1) cool-shot button

PROS OF THE AIRWRAP

Dyson’s non-metal attachments are MUCH more gentle on my hair vs a metal barrel tool. This “pro” is huge! My hair is the healthiest it’s ever been.

Easy to create a perfect blowout. I have never been skilled with a traditional round brush and hair dryer combination, but the Airwrap is the closest I have come to recreating a salon blowout at home.

CONS OF THE AIRWRAP

My finished can sometimes come out with a bit more frizz vs using a heated metal tool like a flat iron.

The Airwrap sells out pretty quickly. This isn’t a “con” of the actual product, just that it is actually pretty hard to get your hands on one at times.

What I find is the the Airwrap gives me the blow out version of curls, which I prefer. My finished hair look is smooth, bouncy, and the curls have great, cohesive movement.

DYSON AIRWRAP VS. CURLING IRON

It’s a different finish vs. using a curling wand for curls with more separation. I hope this makes sense.
