Best of Tarte Cosmetics

Tarte Cosmetics is a company that I’ve loved for a while but become obsessed with lately.   Their tag line is “high-performance naturals” and they use a ton of natural ingredients in their products, don’t test on animals, and have a lot of products that are vegan.
I’ve been seeking out companies that are more natural and don’t use harmful chemicals in their products, but also have products that perform well.  My makeup has to work and Tarte’s products really do.  I wanted to share some favorites with you.

Amazonian Clay Blush in Buff.  I have been looking for more natural blushes lately and this is on sale for $16.  These blushes really do last, in my opinion.  This is such a soft shade, it feels impossible to overdo, but gives you some color.

Aqualillies for Tarte Finishing Powder.  This was a limited edition packaging on a fantastic powder that I didn’t buy at first and regretted!  The powder itself is fantastic, keeps your face totally shine free, and this packaging is amazing.  And now it’s back for a limited time!

Smooth Operator Finishing Powder in Bronze.  I juuuust finished filming a tutorial using this powder.  I hope it’s not being discontinued because it’s in the sale section of the website.  It’s an amazing bronzer for fair skin ladies because it adds a glow, without looking fake, and keeps your face matte at the same damn time.  Might have to get another if it is being discontinued because it’s a summer makeup fav.

Glamazon Pure Perfomance 12 hour lipstick in Fierce.  Ok, this one is in my cart if I decide to place another order.  I have been wanting to try their lipsticks out and this is a really pretty shade of red.

Amazonian Clay 12 hour foundation.  Full post on this amazing full coverage foundation {HERE.}  Makes my skin looks flawless and never clogs my pores.

Maracuja Creaseless Concealer.  I hesitate to try new concealers, because I love my Amazing Cosmetics Concealer so much, but I tried a sample of this and have to say it’s a terrific moisturizing concealer.  It is truly full coverage, keeps my skin super moisturized around my eyes, and there are a good selection of shades.  Full review on this coming soon.

Amazonian Clay Blush in Peaceful.  Great peach shade for redheads.

Eyelash curler.  A favorite!  Really eye opening and a great price.  It also comes with a sample of their best selling “Lights, Camera, Lashes” mascara.  A makeup artist used this on me once and I noticed a huge difference between how nice and wide opened my eyes looked vs the super expensive eyelash curler I was using at the time.

The Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush.  This has become one of my all time favorite, MUST HAVE brushes.  It’s so soft, perfectly packed bristles deliver the perfect amount of contouring powder and then the large side blends like a dream.  Full review on this game changer {HERE.}

BB Tinted Primer.  This primer under the Amazonian Clay foundation gives you the most airbrushed, flawless complexion.  Full review {HERE.}
