Ulta 21 Days of Beauty | The Deal Zone

If you know me, you know I love a deal.  So, I’ve always been a big fan of Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty event.  It’s a great way to try new brands or snap up some favs at deep discounts.

It seems like this event and the liter sale (also a fav!) happens twice a year.  To be honest, I’m not super pumped about the daily deals this time around, but there are some amazing exclusive sets that are crazy deals and great gifts with purchases.

Here are my picks, starting with the daily deals that I did love: (hint: go online the second the clock strikes midnight on the day of the sale to snag these deals, as they tend to go quickly)

March 20: It Cosmetics Your Brows But Better Brow Pencil, normally $24, sale price $12

March 21: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer, good for oily eyelids, 50% off $10-$12

March 30: Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel, normally $22, sale price $11

April 1: Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush, one of my all time FAVORITE products, 50% off, sale price $15 {post}

April 3: It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Correcting Cream, haven’t tried this yet, but will definitely be picking this up to try during the sale, 50% off sale price, $16

Okay, so I guess I liked a few more daily deals than I originally thought, ha!

Here are the limited edition gift sets and GWP (gift with purchase) that I think are a must have:

Urban Decay:

The Ultimate Pair, $26 includes a full size lipstick and full size lip liner in either “F-Bomb” or “Naked”.  I’ve tried both shades and they are awesome.  Also, there is a GWP of a travel size setting spray (my fav setting spray) and mini LSD 24/7 eyeliner with any $35 Urban Decay purchase.

Becca Cosmetics:

Best of Becca collection, $34.50, a $82 value.  Includes two full size blushes (one a cream and one a gel) and two travel size highlighters (one a powder and one a liquid).  This set is an awesome way to try Becca products and try different blush and highlighter textures.  Also, GWP of a Becca Ever-Matte Primer Deluxe Sample with any Becca $30 purchase.

Too Faced:

Cat Eyes Purrrfection Shadow Collection, $36, a $66 value.  Includes a 9-shadow eye palette and an angled liner brush and deluxe size Shadow Insurance Primer.  Also, there is a GWP of deluxe sizes of Better Than Sex Mascara, Waterproof Eyeliner, and Shadow Insurance Primer with any $35 Too Faced purchase.

Lorac:

Pro Mascara, normally $23, sale price $11.50.  This hands down been my favorite mascara for the past year.  I’ve never been so impressed with a mascara.  There is definitely a learning curve, because the brush is tapered at the tip (to get to the inner and outer corners) and fuller at the end of the brush for major volume.  But once I got the hang of the larger brush, I was totally over the moon for it!  It never flakes and makes your lashes huge but never clumpy.  And now it’s priced the same as most drugstore mascaras!  Agh!

Anastasia Beverly Hills:

If you’ve been waiting for a deal to purchase the powder contour kit from ABH, $40, now is the time.  Any Anastasia purchase over $30 comes with a GWP of a full size Pro Pencil, normally $18 (covers blemishes, under brow highlight) in shade Base 1.

Amazing Cosmetics:

If you saw my foundation routine post, you know this is my all-time favorite concealer.  Amazing Cosmetics is doing 20% off their concealers, primers, and foundations.  Grab a .28 size for $22.40 during the sale!  It will last you years.  Seriously.

Sun Bum:

I recently tried this sunblock and it’s great.  It has a heavy coconut smell that just smells like summer to me.  I bough the lotion sunblock in SPF 70, hell yeah Pale Kid Clubs rejoice, and want to try the spray in SPF 50.  During the sale these are buy one, get one 50%.  So basically 25% off two bottles.  Great deal, I haven’t been able to find this on sale anywhere else and the Ulta $3.50 off $10 coupon works on these sunblocks!  Double deal!

Kenra Professional:

GWP of a three piece hairspray set worth $25 (volume, medium hold, texture spray) with any Kenra purchase over $30.  My absolute favorite product is the Dry Thickening Spray, $22.  I use it in place of hair spray when I want a light hold.  It adds crazy volume and a gentle hold.  A little goes a long way, too much makes your hair feel crunchy, but a small amount gives a ton of body.  In addition, with any hair purchase over $20, you get a GWP of It’s a 10 Miracle Leave In, 2 oz travel size, a $12 value.  This stuff is also amazing and makes your hair feel like glossy silk.
