Friendship Friday | Ms. Meagan G.

Wedding Season is in full swing and my lovely friend Meagan was invited to a wedding and wanted to get herself some Girl Get Glamorous hair and makeup.  I was in!

Meagan and I met and became friends doing stand up together.  Not only is she very funny and very pretty and a very good friend to me, but her hair also holds a curl from a hot roller like nobody’s business.

Hair | I blew her hair dry using Living Proof Full styling cream.  Then after it was dry, I sprayed Suave Keratin infusion dry shampoo throughout, to give it extra grip and volume.  At the crown, where I really wanted the volume to be huge, I added a bit of Bumble and Bumble Pret-A-Powder to give crazy texture and hold.  True happiness is big hair.

Meagan wears 16″ length extensions from my line, girlgetglamorousHAIR.

Makeup | For skin, I used Chanel Lumiere foundation in shade 20, Clair.  It’s a long lasting matte foundation that doesn’t look flat on the skin.  Matte felt right with the look, but I still wanted Meagan’s skin to look fresh and last all night.

A cat eye feels essential to the Bardot look, but I wanted to add a little color punch to it.  I decided to do a contoured beige and brown eyeshadow look with the cat eye, and big lashes!

I lined the inside of her eyes with L’Oreal Silkissime eyeliner in Black and Highlighter at the inner corners.  For the precise cat eye, I used the Lorac Front of The Line eyeliner, which has an ultra fine tip.  Perfect for neat-looking cat eyes.

For cheeks we went with a soft peach, I used Too Faced Sweethearts blush in “Peach Beach” (full review HERE).  I have used this blush on so many different people and it looks so flawless on everyone.  It’s one of my favorite, favorite blushes.  I contoured with my It Cosmetics “My Sculpted Face” palette, using the lightest contouring shade.

The lips were also luxe.  I used my Tom Ford lipstick in a soft peach shade.  The peach was perfect with Meagan’s skin.

With the makeup finished, it was time to take the hot rollers out and they did not disappoint!  I teased the crown so it would stay up all night and finished with Elnett hairspray and a drop of oil for shine.

I loved the finished look!
