Boxycharm February 2017 | Unboxing

This month’s Boxycharm might be my all-time favorite so far.  I opened it up and was excited about every single thing in it.

As a refresher: Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that retails for $21 which includes shipping.  It always contains at least 4-5 full size or deluxe size products.  They are mostly full-sized.

It’s a mystery box, meaning you won’t know what is in it every month, but they do give some sneak peeks on Instagram @Boxycharm.  Each month, there are a few items or shades that will be different between everyone’s boxes.

This month’s box was chock-full of things I have been using non-stop already!!

February’s Box

1 | Royal & Langnickel “Omnia” Brush Set, $29.

This Omnia line will be launching March 7th on their website.  I have ben using the “shader” brush to apply my eye shadow every single day since I received it.  It perfectly deposits and blends the color, with zero tugging on my eye lids.  I am so in love with this brush.  I feel like it’s really well made (they starting out specializing in paint brushes for artists!) and will stay one of my go-to brushes.

2 |  MakeupGeek Eyeshadows, $6-$10 each, 2 shades: “Barcelona Beach” + “Unexpected”.

I LOVE Makeup Geek eyeshadows.  The quality is really amazing and they have so many different shades and finishes available, it’s easy to find something unique.  I love their duochrome eyeshadows as well.  Ironically, I actually already own and love both of these shades.  I was sort of hoping for new shades to add to my personal collection, but these are both great classic shades, so I put them in my pro kit.  They’ve already been used this week, so it worked out well.

3 | Z-Palette, Small, $14.

This design is a Boxycharm exclusive. It’s so clean and chic looking, but also so cute with the Boxycharm logo and heart.  I love these z-palettes, you just pop in your eyeshadow pans, like the new MakeupGeek ones, and you have a custom palette of the shades you use the most.  No wasted shades and travel friendly!  I have several of these z-palettes in different sizes and highly recommend them. The small size fits up to nine makeup geek sized eyeshadow pans.

4 | Japonesque Lipstick, shade 02, $20.

This was the one product that I noticed really varied in everyone’s boxes, people got tons of different brands and shades.  I love this shade of lipstick, it’s very wearable and a gorgeous shade of nude rose.  I feel like I got really lucky, I can see myself wearing this or using it on clients.

5 | Dr. Brandt Pore No More Microdermabrasion Scrub, $79.

Holy Toledo.  I couldn’t have been more surprised to see this scrub included!  It’s 1: an amazing product.  It makes your skin SO smooth but doesn’t dry it out or over exfoliate in a harsh way.  2: It’s currently selling on Sephora for $79.  That. Is. Why. Boxycharm. Boxes. Are Baller.

Seriously.  Love it.  I can’t wait to use this microdermabrasion again, I’m making myself wait a week in between uses.  I remember wanting this scrub SO badly when I was in my early 20’s and I couldn’t afford it.  What an amazing surprise to open the box and find!

loved this month’s box, beyond my normal amount!!
